who is jenny jaffe?

Jenny Jaffe is a Los Angeles-based comedy writer. She is currently writing and executive producing FOX's adult animated pilot Saloon, which she co-created with Elliott Kalan.  Most recently, she wrote on the Rugrats reboot for Nickelodeon, where she also helped develop the series bible. She has also written for Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go, Disney’s Big Hero 6: The Series, and MTV's Nikki and Sara Live, in addition to having served as head writer on the pilot for VH1's Love Week. Jenny is also the creator and star of IFC's Neurotica.


While receiving her BFA in Television Writing from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Jenny was a member (and later director) of NYU's premiere sketch group, Hammerkatz. During her senior year, Jenny got her professional start when she was hired as a full time staff writer and performer at CollegeHumor. As a performer, she has been featured on TruTV's Ghost Story Club and IFC's Fortune Rookie, as well as in the movies Punk's Dead and Jack of the Red Hearts, and a whole bunch of podcasts. She is a regular contributor to Vulture.
